Quincy baker seems on Foods Network’s ‘Holiday Baking Championship’

QUINCY − She baked for Jason Varitek, Rob Gronkowski and Charlie Baker handed out cookies at a presidential inaguration and has doled out delectable getaway treats to South Shore people from her Quincy bakery for the previous 28 many years. This week, she took her baking getting her skills to the compact screen.

Beth Veneto, operator of Quincy’s popular Ginger Betty’s Bakery, competed on Monday’s episode of “Getaway Baking Championship: Gingerbread Showdown.” With baking assistant Shane Pratt of Plano, Texas, she produced a gingerbread variation of a holiday break parade as a result of a “ginger city” total with Santa in his sleigh on prime of a strip of storefronts.

“I reside and breathe gingerbread all working day, every day,” Veneto explained on the demonstrate.

Even though she didn’t gain the $10,000 prize on the episode, her “Xmas Parade in the City” function was full of Ginger Betty’s signature brilliant colours and cartoonish characters. She created a small metropolis, decked out for a Christmas parade and complete of spectators, such as toy soldiers, ballooons and a truck pulling a wintertime-themed float.
