The list of Brampton’s best restaurants include Anokhi Fine Dining, pictured here.

Foodies looking to make the move or take a trip to Brampton might want to check out these restaurants that just made a list of the best in the city.

The ranking features four eateries that caught the eye of local realtors REMAX Success Realty to show the diversity of Brampton’s food scene, and possibly entice restaurantgoers and potential buyers to make the trip to the flower city.

Take a look at which of Brampton’s top restaurants made the list:

Vishnu’s Doubles & Roti

This intimate Caribbean cuisine restaurant is managed by a Trinidadian couple and is the “go-to” for authentic Caribbean cuisine in Brampton, according to the list.

“Specializing in doubles, roti, and an array of traditional dishes like calaloo and bake and shark, Vishnu’s ensures a memorable dining experience.”

The menu includes appetizers like Pholourie or Aloo Pie, curry dishes and Calaloo Stew Chicken. You can visit Vishnu’s Doubles & Roti on Kennedy road just north of Bovaird or order online through SkipTheDishes.

The Burger Bros

Opening its first location in 2020, The Burger Bros use 100 per cent Canadian beef ground in-house daily and has quickly become a favourite of local burger lovers.

The menu features classics like the Bro Burger and Twins Burger (one patty or two), and over-the-top creations like Jacked Burger with a beef patty, mozzarella cheese, bacon, a hot dog, a fried egg and all the fixings.

The Brampton restaurant ranking recommends the Twins Burger or the Stepbrothers Burger for first-time visitors.

Fanzorelli’s Restaurant & Wine Bar

A local institution when it comes to Italian dining, Fanzorelli’s is a cozy Italian restaurant located on the corner of Queen and George Street with dishes crafted from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Signature dishes include fresh salmon carpaccio and handmade pizza made in an authentic stone oven, or try the recommended Gnocchi Gorgonzola with a refreshing Pinot Grigio for a perfect meal.

Anokhi

Anokhi Fine Dining offers an upscale experience with a menu featuring authentic North Indian dishes. Opening in 2018, Anokhi took over the space where Mayura used to be near Hurontario and Ray Lawson, complete with an Anokhi Patisserie next door.

“From tantalizing soups to expertly prepared lamb and fish dishes, each meal is a celebration of rich flavours,” the review read. “Conclude your dining experience with the Matke Wali Kulfi, a favourite among locals.”
