Calgary instructor’s entry in Tv set baking level of competition ‘very inspiring’ for his learners – Calgary
This is a significant week for some Calgary submit-secondary pupils.
Learners in the Culinary Arts system at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technological innovation (SAIT) are cheering on one of their instructors as level of competition heats up in a significant-profile holiday break year obstacle.
Instructor Kevin Conniff is just one of the contestants in the Foods Network’s Holiday getaway Baking Championship.
Conniff is one particular of 12 people entered in the celebration, with the first episode broadcast on Nov. 6.
“It’s quite, extremely complicated, so you’ve definitely bought to be on your toes,” Conniff explained. “You have to know some bread, you have to know some ice product, you have to know how to make mousses.”
Conniff proved to be up to all those tough circumstances in the initially spherical.

The Holiday getaway Baking Championship continues weekly on the Foods Network right up until Dec. 25.
